Bare Essentials Illawarra is a home-grown disability support provider. We provide a wide range of supports across the Illawarra ranging from Assistance with Daily Living, Transportation, Cleaning and even Meal Preparation & Nutritional Planning. We work closely with our participants to establish goals, develop strategies and help them execute along the way towards achieving their goals and independence they want. At Bare Essentials Illawarra, we put a great focus on building personal relationships and providing the participants with the essential building blocks not only their goals but for an active and healthy lifestyle. We take pride in offering high quality and personalised support to everyone we work with. We are always striving to learn and grow, so we can put a smile on every face we work with.

Our Mission
Our mission is to provide high-quality and personalised disability support to as many people as we can across the Illawarra. Our foundation at BEI is built around the principle saying “Be Curious, Not Judgemental”. We keep this in mind at all times when providing support to all of our clients. Each client is different & unique and a one size fit approach will not work. Our team works hard to not only provide high-quality but customisable support. We also find it important to build that personal connection with our clients to help them strive towards their goals. We don’t just want to be a support worker to our clients but also a friend and a companion that our clients would consider a part of their personal network.
Our History
In 2020, right as the world was entering one of its most difficult times, Bare Essentials Illawarra was born to step out and provide support with positivity wherever it was needed. The idea of Bare Essentials Illawarra came from prior experience within the NDIS industry, looking to create a foundation built on high quality and personalised services.
Bare Essentials Illawarra looked to provide clients not only with differentiated supports but lasting relationships that go well beyond the normal services. Each individual is unique in their own way and we love that. At Bare Essentials Illawarra we start with a simple principle,“Be Curious, Not Judgemental”.
Our company is about getting to know our clients. Not just their support but their passion, love and creativity. We have worked hard to build Bare Essentials Illawarra on this core foundation. Over the last 2-years we have built out a team of motivated and like-mind individuals to deliver on these principles. We are proud of what we have accomplished and a lot of amazing people we have been able to help so far.
